Facial Plastic Surgery Procedures
Through a Rhinoplasty procedure, Dr. Geoffrey Keyes can reshape your nose to enhance your appearance and improve your facial proportions. In addition to being a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Keyes is also a Board Certified ear, nose, and throat specialist. He has an in-depth understanding of the nasal structure, and he can correct breathing obstructions as well as address aesthetic concerns. Prior to surgery, video imaging is performed to alter the appearance of your nose on a computer. This allows you to communicate with Dr. Keyes about the changes that you are interested in seeing as a result of your surgery.
If you are experiencing lines and wrinkles, jowls, or skin laxity of the lower to mid-face, you may be a good candidate for a facelift. Dr. Keyes will perform a complete exam and consultation to determine your candidacy for this procedure and begin planning your surgery. During surgery, he can carefully conceal incisions in your hairline and behind your ears. He can lift the muscles, attaching them in higher positions. He will carefully close the incisions to result in minimized scarring.
Many patients begin to show the first signs of aging in their necks. With a neck lift, Dr. Keyes will reduce sagging skin and muscles to give you a more rejuvenated appearance. To perform this procedure, he will place an incision below the chin and/or along the hairline. Underlying muscles may be repositioned and lifted, and excess skin trimmed to create a tighter neck and jawline.
Blepharoplasty can raise drooping eyelids, reduce puffiness around the eyes, and give you a more refreshed appearance. Dr. Keyes can perform blepharoplasty on your upper eyelid, lower eyelid, or both. He will determine the best option for you at your initial consultation. During the surgery, he will place the incision in the natural crease of your upper eyelid. By removing excess skin, the upper eyelid is tightened and lifted. Lower eyelid fat is removed through an incision placed behind the lower eyelid.

Otoplasty, more commonly known as ear pinning, can benefit patients of all ages. Dr. Keyes can perform this procedure to reduce the prominence of disproportionately large ears. He can also reposition your ears so that they lie closer to your head. He will complete the entire procedure using tiny incisions hidden behind your ears. Otoplasty is particularly suitable for pediatric patients, and Dr. Keyes will provide a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether your child is ready for this safe and effective cosmetic surgery procedure.
Your facial structure is largely defined by the shape and size of your chin. If you have a weak or sloping chin, it can have a significant effect on your appearance and self-confidence. A chin implant will enhance your facial contours and give your features greater definition. Dr. Keyes will insert this silicone implant through a tiny incision under the chin or inside your mouth, near your lower lip. Chin augmentation surgery is often done in conjunction with Rhinoplasty surgery to better balance a facial profile.
If you are self-conscious about thin, small lips, you may benefit from lip augmentation. Dr. Keyes offers a number of dermal fillers that can add volume to your lips with minimal discomfort and recovery time. Restylane-L® is a highly effective option. Dr. Keyes will help you select the appropriate product for your needs and skin type. Although results may be long-lasting, and you may need to have routine touch-ups as needed.
The fat transfer procedure allows you to improve two areas of your body at once. Dr. Keyes will first perform liposuction on your abdomen, thighs, upper arms, or another trouble area. Once the fat cells have been purified, they can be injected into your face, filling in wrinkles and deep creases. This treatment is particularly suited for facial countouring and nasolabial folds.
