Twenty-two dedicated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons conceived and organized the development of The Rhinoplasty Society in 1996. The goal was to develop comprehensive educational symposia for the purpose of teaching fellow surgeons the art and science of nasal surgery. It is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a collegial environment for the presentation of papers and scientific research in a peer reviewed setting.
Membership is open to trained surgeons who are credentialed by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology or an equivalent foreign examining board.
The membership is comprised of surgeons from the United States and abroad. After completing the application process, the surgeons’ training and certifications are evaluated for membership by The Rhinoplasty Society Board of Directors for approval.
